The Contemporary Theatre of Ohio proudly partners with schools, recreation departments, and community organizations to create theatre-based learning experiences tailored to the needs of each community. Through collaborations with Columbus Recreation & Parks, Bexley Recreation & Parks, Grove City Parks & Recreation, Delaware City Schools, and the YWCA of Central Ohio, we offer camps, residencies, workshops, and creative programming that meet young people where they are—geographically, developmentally, and artistically.
These partnerships make theatre more accessible and meaningful—especially for students who might not otherwise have as much access to the arts. Whether it’s exploring character through storytelling, designing costumes, or performing original scenes, our programs spark imagination, build confidence, and foster connection.
